This year, as part of the Final Four celebration in San Antonio, there is a new event. The 3x3U National Championship is a new 32-team tournament comprised of seniors only from each Division I conference competing for a $100,000 prize. It is a 3-day, 3-on-3 tournament and each team features four players.
As fun as it would be to send Purdue’s four seniors out there for the Big Ten, we only get to send one. Vincenet Edwards will join Ohio State’s Jae’Sean Tate, Minnesota’s Nate Mason and Indiana’s Robert Johnson to represent the Big Ten.
