When Mike Bobinski came aboard in the fall of 2016 Purdue athletics were in dire straits. The men’s basketball team had not won an NCAA Tournament game since 2012, baseball was coming off of a terrible 10-win season, and the less said about football at the time, the better.
In just three years Bobinski has turned things around.
Bobinski has completely transformed the football program after years of mismanagement and neglect. Men’s basketball has made three consecutive Sweet 16s, won two Big Ten titles, and was two tenths of a second from the Final Four. Baseball made it third ever NCAA Tournament and is in transition again under Greg Goff.
