After diving in the Olympics this summer and winning a silver medal ont he platform with David Boudia the NCAA meet should be easy for Purdue’s Steele Johnson. Last season he officially took a redshirt to train for the Olympics, but he was back this season in the pool competing for Purdue as a sophomore.
After tonight, he is halfway to Boudia’s school record of 6 NCAA CHampionships.
Johnson competed today in the 1-meter diving finals at the NCAA meet in Indianapolis, his first of three events as he will also do the 3-meter and 10-meter the next two days.
