Some relatively monior bad news tonight in advance of the season opener against Green Bay:
Purdue men’s basketball head coach Matt Painter has announced that sophomore Sasha Stefanovic will miss tonight’s season opener with a right foot injury suffered in practice Monday.
The injury is not expected to be long-term and moving forward, Stefanovic will be questionable for Purdue’s contest with Texas on Saturday night in Mackey Arena.
Hopefully they are right about it being a minor injury. Stefanovic was expected to compete for a starting spot this season on the wing as the projected three-point ace.
