Robbie Hummel has played with the Minnesota Timberwolves since the team selected him in the 2012 NBA Draft, but the former Purdue great has made his way back to his home state of Indiana for three straight years to conduct a camp for area youth.
Previous camps took place in Merrillville, Indiana, but Hummel was excited to conduct this year’s event in his hometown of Valparaiso, Indiana.
“There’s been a lot of kids that weren’t able to come because we were in Lake County last year,” Hummel said. “But it’s good to be back home. It’s always fun to be close to where you grew up.
