Purdue Boilermakers receiver Danny Anthrop has been medically cleared to play football again. Mike Carmin of the Indianapolis Star reported the story.
Anthrop tore his ACL in his team’s loss against Nebraska last November and said that he was ahead of schedule in February.
Today, he is participating in summer workouts and is poised to suit up for the team for his senior season. At the time of his injury, he had 38 receptions for 616 yards and four touchdowns.
In three seasons with the Boilermakers, he has caught 56 passes for 954 yards and seven scores.
