Led by our fearless leader, Sharon Versyp, the Purdue Women’s Basketball squad grind out a win in their Big Ten opener today in Columbus taking down the Buckeyes by a score of 66-50.
Sophomore guard Kayana Traylor led the team in scoring with 15 points on 3-5 shooting from the field including a 3-4 mark from behind the arc, and going a perfect 6-6 from the charity stripe while also adding 3 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal.
Along with Traylor, the other big performer from the game was Senior guard Dominique Oden who chipped in 12 points on 4-6 shooting with 8 rebounds and 2 assists.
