Purdue Women Start Season with Win Over Jacksonville State

Slowly but surely Purdue distanced themselves from a pesky Jacksonville State squad.

Purdue was able to outscore JSU every period and got an outstanding effort from sophomore Andreona Keys to earn the win.

The first quarter featured runs for both teams. JSU scored first but wasn't able to get any momentum as Purdue ran off 10 straight to go up 10-2. Reversing fortunes it was Purdue's turn to go cold from the field as the Gamecocks struck with a three which Purdue answered with two Erica Moorefree throws. From then JSU scored eight straight before cooling off.
