Purdue’s PR staff sent out an email this afternoon confirming that Purdue will take part in the eleventh annual Charleston Classic, to be played November 15, 16 & 18 at TD Arena in Charleston, South Carolina.
The field of eight is strong and features five teams who played in the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
According to preseason rankings on Sports Illustrated and CBS Sports for the upcoming 2018-19 season, Virginia Tech is ranked 13th on both rankings. They look to be an elite team again this season and the team that is likely to play Purdue in the championship game.
