After their biggest offensive output of the season in their last contest, Purdue continued their hot shooting streak against Nebraska as they out shot the Huskers to cruise to an 83-72 win at home.
The Boilermakers began the game in a back and forth battle with Nebraska in the first quarter before really getting things going in the second. At the 9:19 mark of the second quarter the Corn Huskers took a 24-23 lead on a basket by Sam Haiby, then Purdue responded with an 18-4 run to take control of the game. The Boilermakers were able to stay out of striking distance for the rest of the contest.
