I said last week that Purdue shouldn’t overlook Rutgers. Here we are a week later and Purdue is coming off a loss to Rutgers...ugh. I know they’ve improved, but losing to Rutgers really sucked the positivity and optimism away from this team. I’m sure Brohm can turn things around after a bad loss like that, but can he do it in just 1 week?
The clock is ticking, and Purdue can’t afford another loss now if they want to go to a bowl game this season. Sure, a bowl game was not the expectation for Purdue back in August, but it is now given how weak the B1G West division looks.
