It came as no surprise when Emmanuel Dowuona announced he would be entering the NCAA Transfer Portal after three years with the Boilermakers. Now, the redshirt sophomore has decided to take his talents to play for the Tigers of Tennessee State per Eric Woodyard on Twitter.
Dowuona joins Aaron Wheeler as the two Boilermakers to find new homes this off-season after Wheeler announced his commitment to St. John’s earlier this month.
This was just an unfortunate set of circumstances for Dowuona, who never had the chance to get going as a result of the players in front of him and missed all of last season.
