Purdue to Headline 2016 Cancun Challenge

Related Topics: Cancún

With only Rapheal Davis and A.J. Hammons leaving this offseason Purdue should be pretty decent next year as well. The Boilers are already looking ahead in terms of scheduling too, as their exempt tournament was officially announced this afternoon. Purdue will be headed to Cancun, Mexico just before Thanksgiving to play a pair of games at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.

Like many other exempt events such as the 2KSports challenge, a pair of games will be played in Mackey Arena before hand, while the "finals" are already announced. Purdue will be playing in the Riviera Division with Auburn, Texas Tech, and Utah State.
