Purdue running back Tirek Murphy has entered the transfer portal according to his twitter account. The young man had only been at Purdue for this season. He was a class of 2020 three star recruit on Rivals and 247 composite four star recruit. He committed to Purdue out of New York’s Christ the King high school. He chose Purdue over interest from Arizona State, Baylor, Boston College, and Buffalo among others. He was the #23 rated running back in the class according to Rivals. During his high school career he rushed for 1,694 to go along with 18 touchdowns on just 311 carries.
