Purdue Milestones Hit in Vanderbilt Win

The good news is that Purdue has a passing game. A ton of records were benchmarks were achieved today:

  • Elijah Sindelar had 519 yards of total offense, the fifth best day in school history behind David Blough vs. Missouri last year (590), Curtis Painter vs. Central Michigan in the Motor City Bowl (540), Kyle Orton vs. Indiana in 2004 (530), and some guy named Drew Brees Against Minnesota in 1998 (524).
  • Sindelar’s 509 yards passing tied Brees vs. Michigan State for sixth place on the single game list and was just the seventh 500-yard passing day in school history.
