Purdue Men’s Golf Finishes 28th at NCAA Championships

It was a rough Memorial Day weekend for Purdue men’s golf. Although they qualified for the NCAA Championships once again this year, they were never in contention on a rough course at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois. Of the 30 teams that were in competition this weekend Purdue was 28th after today, and did not make the top 15 cut for tomorrow’s fourth and final round of stroke play. Purdue was +38 for the weekend, two strokes ahead of Kennesaw State and three ahead of Clemson. The cut line was +7 as a team.

Purdue fired a 298 on day one and was in 26th place after 18 holes.
