Purdue Men Finish 15th at NCAA Track Championships

A few years ago Purdue men's track was at the bottom of the Big Ten. Now they are one of the best teams in the nation, mostly thanks to the efforts of Chukwuebuka Enekwechi. This weekend Purdue finished 15th at the NCAA Championships on the men's side with 14 total points. It is the highest team finish for the program since 1972.

Enekwechi scored 11 points with his finishes in the shot put and hammer throw. The 4x400 meter relay team then added three points on Friday night as Nicholas Parks, Kyle Webb, Kendal Frederick, and Shawndail McLaren finished 6th in the finals of their relay in a time of 3:6.
