Bilal Marshall, a 6-foot-2-inch, 195-pound junior from Miami, came to Purdue as a quarterback. He entered the football program at the same time as current Purdue starting quarterback Austin Appleby, but followed a very different path to his current roster spot.
Since his arrival, Marshall has been forced to give up quarterbacking. He’s now a receiver, but due to injuries, he’s been unable to see the field very often.
Now that Marshall has added weight to sure up his body, he’s been able to fend off injuries and get a full workload all spring.
“The number one thing is I’ve stayed healthy this spring,” Marshall said.
