It took a while, but with one of the few new coaches in the Big Ten Purdue was always slightly behind the rest of the pack in recruiting. Coming into this evening Purdue was the last power five program without a commitment for the class of 2018, but we finally joined everyone else:
Jaylan Alexander is a 6’1” 225 poud outside linebacker from Hoffman Estates, Illinois. he also plays wide receiver, but Purdue has recruited him as a linebacker, which is needed given this coming season’s departures of Ja’Whaun Bentley, T.J. McCollum, and Danny Ezechukwu. Here are his offensive highlights:
