Purdue loves tall, athletic offensive linemen, and Rengert is about as tall and athletic as you’re going to find. He’s already a handful as a junior and will only get better as he grows into his frame.
Purdue should try and take 5 offensive linemen every class. They’ve fallen short of that the last few years, but 2020 is shaping up to be a solid year for offensive linemen in the Boilermakers recruiting footprint. I expect this to be a five or even six man offensive line class, depending on how Purdue does in-state with a couple of priority prospects.
