The tight ends were used frequently last year. It helps that the tight ends on our roster are extremely versatile. All three can block, run routes and catch passes. When your tight ends are athletic playmakers, they are a problem week in and week out.
Cole Herdman, Brycen Hopkins and Darius Pittman were that last year. Pittman was used more as a blocker, but the other two could do anything that was asked of them. Herdman will be returning for his senior year, Hopkins for his junior year and Pittman for his sophomore year.
