Purdue football player arrested

Robinson, who joined the wrestling and track and field teams after football season, was arrested by Purdue police on charges of operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 percent or more and illegal possession of an alcoholic beverage.

According to Purdue athletic officials, head football coach Darrell Hazell is fully aware of the situation.

Last year, Hazell suspended safety Taylor Richards for two games after an offseason, alcohol-related arrest.
