D.J. Johnson, former Iowa Hawkeye and current Purdue Boilermaker had his NCAA waiver to play this season approved.
Brohm: Iowa transfer D.J. Johnson's waiver approved by NCAA. Waiting on the Big Ten to sign off to make it official.

I anticipate the Big10 rubber stamping this thing on Monday.
This is a huge addition to the Boilermaker secondary. Bob Diaco loves to use corner/safety highbred players in the back end of his defense and D.J.’s skill set should mesh perfectly.
