Purdue Boilermakers forward Jacquil Taylor has been granted a medical hardship waiver by the Big Ten and will thus have his freshman season of eligibility restored. Yahoo Sports reported Taylor’s good news.
A former three-star recruit out of Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, near Boston, the 6-foot-9 Taylor was only able to appear in six games last season due to various leg and shin injuries. In a grand total of 42 minutes of playing time, he managed the following: 13 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots.
Fortunately for Taylor, he comes back for a season in which Purdue has two fine recruits joining the team: five-star big man and Indiana Mr.
