It's almost like clockwork every off-season:
- Purdue Football is left off the schedule.
- People complain and blame the lack of permanent lights as the reason why Purdue doesn't have a night game.
- Repeat
I love the off-season, don't you?
This is an argument that has always bothered me. It's one, as you can tell by the title, that I tend to disagree with. And an argument that I react to every time just by saying:

While I do think permanent lights would be nice in Ross-Ade and *possibly* leading to more night games (or at least 3:30 kickoffs), it really isn't worth the investment for Purdue right now, as the estimated $3 million needed for installation could be put to better use.
