Boiler baseball is at 2-8 on the season and once again facing some serious questions.
It was not a good weekend for Purdue, specifically its bullpen. The Boilermakers fell to 2-8 on the season after dropping 3 of 4 at east Tennessee State, and all three losses were very winnable games.
Friday:
ETSU started the series with a 4-2 thanks to 10 runners left on base by Purdue. A Purdue runner reached base in eight of nine innings, including Harry Shipley reaching in all four plate appearances. All told, Purdue was 0 for 9 with runners in scoring position.
