There are many things to point at and blame when it comes to tonight’s loss. Like a missed field goal, or the game winning touchdown being overturned.
But in the end, Purdue would have never been in this situation had they not had ANOTHER poor first half performance.
Despite going into halftime only down 3 points, Purdue had to fight back from a 27-10 deficit. And even then, it could have easily been 38-10. Once again, a poor Purdue start has doomed the Boilermakers for a 3rd straight game, It happened against Northwestern going down 14-0. It happened last week against when they couldn’t put Eastern Michigan against.
