So, that was fun!
Outside of Boston College’s first scoring drive, Purdue was in control for most of the game today. A young defense, plagued with mistakes throughout the season, had a tough task slowing down Dillon and a Boston College offense that scored over 50 points per game coming into today.
Today, the defense showed up and held the Eagles to 14 points. And 7 of those came in the last minute when the game was basically already one. Purdue was able to force 4 interceptions today, but perhaps the biggest one occurred late in the 3rd quarter, as Antonio Blackmon picked off Anthony Brown in the end zone.
