In a game where most people did not give Purdue a chance, the Boilers paved their own path.
Purdue is leaving Iowa with a 24 to 15 victory, pulling our record to 5-6, with one game left, the Bucket game.
Per usual, Purdue’s defense was stout, controlling the Iowa run game and limiting Nathan Stanley in the air as well. The defense had 6 sacks as well as an interception in this one. While the Boilermaker offense was not perfect, it did enough to secure the win.
Purdue jumped out to a quick 7-0 score early on, with a 16 play drive, a drive where we had to listen to Matt Millen from BTN rag on how bad our football team was.
