The Purdue Boilermakers dropped to 3-8 on the season with a 23-15 loss to the Northwestern Wildcats. Without Hudson Card and Nic Scourton, the Boilers were fighting an uphill battle to start the game but had multiple chances to take control of the game. Those chances largely went by the way side as Purdue missed out on multiple scoring chances in the first half, one being Purdue getting stopped on 3rd and 4th down from inside the 1 yard line.
Purdue had to go with Bennett Meredith and Ryan Browne at quarterback with Card out with a reported rib injury.
