Even with last week’s loss to Michigan at home, Purdue is fine. The goal in the Big Ten is to defend home court as best you can and try to steal a few on the road. Ideally, you get all 10 home games and 5-6 on the road to be in contention for the league title. If you are a team like Purdue, where the conference title is probably out of reach, but you’re trying to get to the NCAA Tournament, it is best to make sure you win more games on the road than you lose at home.
