For the first time since 1941 Purdue is hosting an SEC team. The last time this happened Purdue lost to Vanderbilt 3-0 on September 27, 1941. At least next season we will have a shot at revenge.
But today we need to turn the season around. Drew Lock and Emmanuel Hall are a dynamic passing duo and Purdue has a lot to clean up as a football team. The season is very much in the balance after last week’s loss to Eastern Michigan. Our 0-2 record can easily spiral into 0-5 if we’re not careful.
Conversely, a win tonight over a good Missouri team can turn things around and we can be 4-2 going into the Ohio State game.
