Last week turned out to be a pretty horrible nightmare for the LSU Tigers. Four players for the SEC West powerhouse were arrested. One of those players was Anthony Jennings, the quarterback who started the season for the Tigers last year and split time with Brandon Harris for most of the season.
The Tiger finally got some good news Monday afternoon when they learned they would be gaining a quarterback to replace the suspended Jennings.
According to The Advocate, former Purdue quarterback Danny Etling has decided to transfer to Baton Rogue this season. The sophomore will have two years of eligibility left after sitting out the 2015 season, using his redshirt to do so, in accordance to NCAA rules.
