I am going to go ahead and assume this is about football.

Someone made him upset.

He doesn’t want to be considered an underdog any longer, he wants to be a top dog. He isn’t wrong. If you go not thinking you can win the game, that you are the underdog, it become a mindset. More than likely, we will be considered underdogs in games this season.

Sure, it can put a chip on your shoulder, for some games, for a little bit. But eventually, some of the players might just settle for the underdog and never work their way out of that.
