I missed this last month, but Mike Carmin retweeted today that our own Jeff Brohm will be throwing out the first pitch Saturday night at Wrigley before the Cubs and Cardinals play the second game of a doubleheader:
Brohm’s appearance at Wrigley Field is two days before the start of Big Ten Media Days and Luncheon in downtown Chicago. It’s not often Purdue’s program is on this stage, but expect more opportunities as the Boilermakers have success.
Of course, at one time Brohm was a pretty accomplished minor league baseball player.
