Welcome Jeff Brohm, the 36th head coach in the history of Purdue football dating back to its inception in 1887. Brohm enters trying to clean up the mess caused by Darrell Hazell (and Danny Hope and Morgan Burke). He needs to only win two games in his first season to have a better start than Hazell. He needs a single home Big Ten win to match the total of his predecessor.
Obviously, he has a long road ahead of him, but overall I think this is a good hire. Brohm is renowned for his offensive prowess as a head coach and in three years at Western Kentucky he has a 30-10 record with a pair of conference titles.
