Earlier this season Vince Edwards became the 50th player in Purdue basketball history to score 1,000 career points. He has since moved up the scoring list, as Rapheal Davis was 49th at 1,009 and Dennis Blind was at 1,011. Today he had a teammate an classmate join him.
Coming into today junior Isaac Haas needed just 9 points to also join the 1,000 point club as the 51st member. He did that this afternoon against Michigan in the opening game for Purdue in the 2017 Big Ten Tournament.
This is a solid accomplishment for a great player that has already done a lot in his career for the Boilers.
