Neither player was the starter coming out of fall camp, but it appears that both Austin Appleby and Danny Etling will be leading their teams for the near future. Etling just started his first game at LSU and Tiger fans are singing his praises as he did very well in winning LSU’s SEC opener last night against Mississippi State. Appleby has played only as a reserve, but after Luke Del Rio was injured yesterday he will miss 2-3 weeks with a knee injury. That makes it likely that Appleby will be the starter on October 8 when LSU travels to Florida.
