It’s game day again and we have Eastern Michigan in West Lafayette. That’s a lot of directions in one sentence, but hopefully Purdue is just going to go in one direction: the end zone. we know that both David Blough and Elijah Sindelar will play a quarter in the first half, but Jeff Brohm will evaluate at halftime and probably stick with the better guy in the second half. Like many other things, it is one area where Purdue needs to smooth things out and this is a great game to do that.
Purdue needs to settle on a quarterback, needs to find a pass rush, and needs to cut back on penalties and turnovers.
