At this point the award should really be the Purdue Freshman of the Week. Rondale Moore won Big Ten Freshman of the Week 4 times last year. This year King Doerue won it once, and now David Bell has his FOURTH Big Ten Freshman of the Week award for the 2019 season.
Bell had 12 receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown in Madison on Saturday. It is the fifth time that Bell has had more than 100 yards receiving in a game this year and the third time he has had 12 or more receptions.
