Purdue is reportedly planning to bring back head football coach Darrell Hazell for a fourth year despite continued on-field struggles leading to a 2-6 record this season.

Pat Forde of Yahoo Sports reported that, while nothing is official, the current expectation is that Hazell will be back on the Boilermakers' sideline in 2016. He noted it's been more than four decades since the school let a coach go within four years (Bob DeMoss).
It's also noted the coach's buyout, which the Indianapolis Star stated would be around $6.
