Last season after upsetting Ohio State Purdue received votes in the AP Poll for the first time in seven years. The Boilers have not been in the top 25 since appearing for one week in 2007, but came close last year after receiving votes twice. This year it will be another long climb back to the top 25, but there is ample opportunity to knock off ranked opponents again.
