College Basketball Rankings March 8: Purdue Moves Into Top 20

The regular season is over and Purdue is in a surprising position given what we knew in November. After beating a top 25 team (from last week’s poll) and one of the conference minnows Purdue will head tot he postseason in the top 20. Not bad for a team that wasn’t receiving votes back in November and was picked to finish 8th or worse. This has been one of coach Painter’s finest jobs.
