Purdue had been ranked for 42 consecutive AP Polls before last week, whcih was the No. 6 active streak. Unfortunately, after losing a pair of games in the Bahamas the Boilers fell out of the top 25 to No. 9.
It was only a one-week blip.
After beating a ranked Louisville team and knocking off two teams in Maryland and Northwestern who received votes, all in a span of six days, Purdue is back in this week’s top 25.
