Carsen Edwards Named Wooden Award Finalist

Earlier today the 15 finalists for the 2018 Wooden Award given to the top player in college basketball were named. For the second season in a row Purdue has a finalist, and it is not one of our vaunted four seniors. It is sophomore Carsen Edwards.

With 628 points and a 22.7 per game average over the last 10 games he has come on strong as Purdue as pushed to the NCAA Tournament. His 40 point game at Illinois was the first 40 point game by a Big Ten player in 6 years and first from a Purdue player in 24 years.
