With 12 points today Carsen Edwards has joined the 1,000 point club at Purdue. he is the 53rd player in our history to reach that mark and the first sophomore to do so since some guy named Glenn Robinson back in 1994.
We all know of Carsen’s proficiency to score, but with two years left in West Lafayette he is positioned to take a run at some of our biggest scoring records. Only five players have scored 2,000 or more points at Purdue: Rick mount, Joe Barry Carroll, E’Twaun Moore, Dave Schellhase, and Troy Lewis. The school record, held by Mount, of 2,323 points is certainly in range.
