After another solid week with two double-doubles and a 15-5-6 line against Youngstown State on Saturday Caleb Swanigan was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the second time this season.
Swanigan now has four double-doubles on the season, the third most by a Purdue freshman in school history and the fifth most for a freshman nationally this season. For the season, he is averaging 9.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game, being one of three freshmen nationally to average 9.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game (LSU's Ben Simmons, Marquette's Henry Ellenson).
