Boudia Advances to 10M Final, Johnson Eliminated

Related Topics: David Boudia

It was a rough morning for the American divers from Purdue, but David Boudia will at least advance to the 10 meter platform finals with a shot to defend his gold from London.

Boudia finished 10th with a 458.35 after he had a solid preliminary round. That was just enough to advance to tonight’s final at 4:30pm, as he was safe by roughly 11 points.

The hard luck 13th place finisher? Purdue’s Steele Johnson. His silver with Boudia in the synchro event will have to be enough as he finished with a 447.85, 6 points out of 12th place.
