Boilers in the Pros: Ryan Kerrigan Signs with Eagles

After spending the first 10 years of his NFL career with the Washington Football Team former Purdue All-American Ryan Kerrigan announced today via his Instagram that he would not be returning to Washington for his 11th season.

It marks the end of a great chapter for Kerrigan. During his 10 seasons with Washington he was a four time pro bowler. He amassed the fifth most sacks since his drafting in 2011 with 95.5 and is Washington’s all-time sack leader. Out of the 160 games in his career he’s missed just four. During this past season the utilization rate for Kerrigan fell to 38% of snaps.
