Basketball star Lamina Cooper not enrolled at Purdue

The Purdue Boilermakers women’s basketball team have not made the NCAA Tournament since 2013 and it looks like they could struggle over the next few seasons. It was reported Monday evening that the team will be without a star member of their 2015 recruiting class.

The Indy Star reported that Lawrence North High School basketball star Lamina Cooper had not enrolled at Purdue and that she will not attend the school this fall. There was no reason given as to why Cooper has decided not to play for the Boilermakers this season.

Cooper was going to be a huge piece for the Boilermakers this season as she entered the season as a five-star point guard.
